Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatrics, serving a K-12 school setting in Allen Park, MI. This position involves working with a pediatric caseload focused on language intervention, supporting students across developmental stages throughout the school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy services in compliance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Developing and implementing IEPs tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of educators and healthcare professionals
- Delivering services primarily via teletherapy and in-person as appropriate
- Participating in supervision and mentorship opportunities as a Clinical Fellow or experienced clinician
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or credentialed as a school-based SLP
- Pediatric experience preferred, including work with school-aged children
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent supervision experience
- Familiarity with school systems and educational regulations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
