We are growing, and seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, service, and maintain our fleet of heavy-duty construction equipment. We are looking for someone with a broad background as you will be working on many brands including Hyundai, Caterpillar, Volvo and John Deere. In this position, you'll perform inspections, troubleshoot mechanical issues, conduct repairs, and ensure the reliability and safety of our equipment both on-site and in our workshop.

Some of your responsibilities may include:

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
• Diagnose and repair engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and other equipment components
• Utilize diagnostic testing technology to troubleshoot issues
• Conduct repairs on-site and in the shop as needed
• Follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both the equipment and employees
• Document services, repairs, and any other necessary details for record keeping
• Be available for after-hours work when required to ensure minimal downtime

Our ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
• Knowledge of diesel engines and heavy construction equipment
• Familiarity with computer-based diagnostic tools
• Ability to lift and handle heavy machinery parts up to 50 lbs
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• A valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work overtime if necessary
