Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an AWS Cloud Fullstack opening for our client in Ann Arbor, MI.

Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Duration: 12 months

Description:
Full Stack Developers should be able to work in a modern cloud-native environment. Cloud-native solutions are built around: microservices-based modular designs, API-driven microservices, continuous release/improvement cycles via Agile, event-driven architectures, containerized workloads, serverless architectures, purpose-driven databases, and progressive web applications using SPAs and microfrontends.

Duties:

• Design, develop, and deploy full stack applications in AWS cloud environments.

• Build scalable microservices, APIs, and serverless applications.

• Implement and manage containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).

• Develop responsive web applications leveraging modern front-end frameworks.

• Ensure best practices in security, CI/CD, and DevOps automation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery cycles.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS).

• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.

• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, or Angular.

• Knowledge of serverless frameworks and container orchestration.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline).

• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.

Experience:

• 5+ years as a full stack developer in cloud environments.

• Hands-on experience with AWS-based application design and deployment.

• Proven track record with Agile development and continuous delivery.

• Prior work with scalable, high-availability systems.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
