Kitchen Manager

The Kitchen Manager (AM) at Chick-fil-A is a pivotal role that embodies the company's core values and culture. This position focuses on supporting senior leadership in daily operations while ensuring team members adhere to operational excellence and service standards. The Team Leader is responsible for coaching and developing team members, maintaining a clean and efficient work environment, and addressing guest issues as they arise.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team.
• Ensures that Team Members follow recipes and read tickets to prepare all orders accurately.
• Ensures that Team Members are extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items.
• Ensures that Team Members work at a pace to maintain the restaurant's established speed of service guidelines.
• Ensures that workstations are clean at all times.
• Ensures that cashiers follow cash handling procedures at all times.
• Executes proper security and cash handling and control procedures and holds cashiers accountable to adhering to policies and procedures.
• Addresses guest issues that may arise; consults with management regarding complex issues.
• Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
• Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management for appropriate handling.
• Strictly adheres to all Company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to work the hours of 5:30 am - 2:00 pm Monday - Saturday.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members.
• Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience as a shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager is preferred.
