We are looking for a Laser Tracker Operator in our Quality Department for our Tooling company in Shelby Township, MI. This individual will be responsible for the following:

Job Requirements & Duties:

• This positions will be responsible for the custom tracker services to inspect and manufacture tooling, jigs and fixtures for the Aerospace, Sapce and Defence Industry.
• Will be responsible for producing easy to understand and visually appealing inspection reports that include written descriptions, 3-D pictures and data tables.
• Will be responsible for producing the reporting and documentation of Inspection results.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Good math, verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Verisurf Software needed
• Experience with Faro Laser Tracker required
• GD&T and Blueprint reading skills
• Excellent organization and follow up skills
• Must understand deadlines and how they impact the overall business
• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to learn and software programs as needed.
• Previous experience in the Aerospace industry a plus but will train.

Education and Training:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College preferred but not required
• Minimally 5 years of experience with Verisurf Software needed.
• Minimally 5 years of experience with Faro Laser Tracker required
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite Programs
