• Lead & mentor a team of prepress/automation specialists; create project plans, set priorities, coach, and develop career paths.
• Build, maintain, and optimize Enfocus Switch flows (scripting, configurators, API integrations).
• Integrate Switch with Ultimate Impostrip , BCC Mailer , EFI Pace (MIS), and related systems.
• Automate end-to-end print workflows: job ingest, preflight, imposition, proofing, VDP, ticketing, scheduling, and finishing handoff.
• Partner cross-functionally with IT, pressroom, bindery, and operations to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Train teams on best practices in prepress automation, PDF standards, color, and quality control.
• Measure & improve : create KPIs for throughput, accuracy, makeready reduction, and spoilage.

What You Bring

• Required : Hands-on Enfocus Switch expertise (JavaScript/AppleScript/Config scripting, configurators, APIs).
• Required : Commercial printing background—prepress/PDF workflows, imposition, VDP , color management, and production automation.
• Preferred : Experience with Ultimate Impostrip , BCC Mailer , EFI Pace (or similar MIS/ERP), Prinect/Prinergy/Esko , HP PrintOS, RIPs (Fiery/Heidelberg/HP).
• Proven team leadership and project management skills; strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with G7/GRACoL , preflight standards, JDF/JMF, hot folders, REST APIs, and scripting.

Industry focus: We’re prioritizing candidates from commercial printing, packaging, or graphic communications . High-volume automotive/assembly automation without print workflow experience is not a match.
