Controls Project Manager
Job Description
An Material Handling Client of Insight Global is in search of a Project Manager, focusing on controls, to support the delivery of mid- to large-scale automation projects. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, including scope, budget, schedule, and execution, while coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners. The Project Manager will monitor project performance, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery of controls and automation systems that meet quality and timeline expectations.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education but will vary from $115,000-$130,000.
Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent experience
2-4+ years of project management experience in technical or engineering environmentsFamiliarity with automation, electrical, or controls systems
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Experience managing full project lifecycles and cross-functional teams
Willingness to travel as needed (50%-90%)
