Salary Range: $41,000 - $64,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize and maintain precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators.
• Document inspection results thoroughly and accurately, including non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality specifications to ensure product compliance.
• Identify, quarantine, and report non-conforming materials or products to relevant departments.
• Conduct first-article, in-process, and final product inspections according to established procedures.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of quality control issues and customer complaints.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated skill in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Solid understanding of manufacturing quality standards and quality control principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certification (e.g., CMI, CQI)
• Experience with CMM programming or advanced metrology software
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Proficiency in interpreting complex GD&T specifications
