Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems for manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues on production lines to minimize downtime.
• Program and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and industrial control systems.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for electrical assets.
• Ensure all electrical systems and installations comply with relevant safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E) and industry codes.
• Manage electrical projects, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor oversight.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve process efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development for industrial automation.
• Strong understanding of industrial power distribution systems, motor controls, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Proficiency in designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical control panels and instrumentation.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and network architecture.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E) and machine safety standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial automation platforms (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
• Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
• Experience with robotics or machine vision systems.
