| WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

SLATE is looking for an energetic, organized High Voltage Validation Intern to join our growing team for the Fall 2025 semester (September – December). You will be responsible for supporting the HV Validation Engineer in performing testing and validation of Electrified Powertrain High Voltage components across vehicle platforms.

| WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Assist the Validation Engineer in conducting both virtual and physical tests across various platforms, including HiL, plywood buck, pack, and vehicle systems.
• Gather and analyze test data, then summarize the results and compare against the specified requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and present the findings to the leadership team.
• Intern will be involved in root cause analysis of any potential failures occurring during testing
• Intern will have the opportunity to gain experience in working with High Voltage components and systems
• Intern will learn to work with other engineers in a team environment
  
  

| WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

• 3rd or 4th year of bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Genuine interest in learning and gaining hands on experience in the Electric Vehicle space
• An interest in Automotive Engineering projects and troubleshooting
• A desire to be a strong team player
• High level of mathematical and data analysis capabilities with a strong analytical mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Prior internship or project experience in High Voltage space is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong academic standing (e.g., minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent recommended)
