Key Job Details – Interventional Radiology RN Travel Assignment

• Location: South Bend, IN 46601 (Indiana healthcare jobs)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2570 - $2640
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (potential extension available)
• Facility Setting: Interventional Radiology, Trauma Level II, acute care hospital
• Shift: 4x10-hour days (06:30 – 17:00)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• Call Requirement: 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
• Weekend Coverage: Every 4th weekend (Friday–Sunday)
• Charting System: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Light Blue (provided)

Qualifications – Interventional Radiology RN

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state (pending accepted if active by start date)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology RN experience (Trauma Level II required; Level I preferred)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS (pending accepted if active by start date)
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting system
• Community hospital experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Responsibilities – Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

• Assist and circulate for a range of interventional radiology procedures: biopsies, angiograms, tube changes, dialysis access, ports, thoracentesis, paracentesis, chest tubes, and more
• Provide sedation and monitoring for both inpatient and outpatient IR cases
• Respond to trauma emergencies, mechanical stroke thrombectomies, and emergent IR needs while on call
• Float to affiliate hospital IR departments as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, social services, etc.)
• Maintain strict infection prevention and safety protocols
• Assist with room turnover and support efficient workflow in the IR department
• Deliver care to diverse patient populations: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
