Consumers Credit Union is looking to hire a passionate Vice President of Business Services to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the growth of the Business Services department. This role involves strategic planning, business development, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial services to business members. The Vice President will lead a team including sales, credit, treasury management and operations driving growth and maintaining the credit union's competitive edge in the market.

You will be doing:

• Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the commercial loan portfolio and enhance business services.
• Collaborate across the organization and with senior management to align business services with the credit union's overall goals and objectives.
• Business Development:
• Manage and direct the leadership of the sales team which include commercial lenders, small business lenders and treasury management.
• Lead the pursuit of new business opportunities to expand the credit union's market presence.
• Build and maintain relationships with key business members and community partners.
• Team Management:
• Lead, mentor, and develop the team of professionals, fostering the credit union’s culture and high performance.
• Risk Management:
• Oversee the assessment and management of risk within the commercial loan portfolio and the treasury services.
• Member Services:
• Ensure the delivery of exceptional service to business members, addressing their financial needs and concerns.
• Implement initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and loyalty.
• Operations:
• Manage and direct the lending and portfolio management process and workflow
• Committed resource to offices and regularly participate in their formal training.
• Direct the structure, workflow, underwriting and decisions of loan requests in accordance with policies and procedures.

What you will bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 10+ years of business services experience required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of business lending and business treasury management including credit, operations, policies and procedures.
• Strong portfolio management skills to achieve credit quality, profitability and growth.
• Proven ability to directly manage and motivate staff and lead others.
• Flexibility in reacting to changes and challenges.
• Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal, and presentation skills required.
