Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Cedar Springs, MI

1st and 3rd Shift Openings

Pay: $18-21/hr

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support production operations at our plastic injection molding facility. This role is responsible for moving raw materials, supplying production machines, transporting finished goods, and maintaining organized inventory throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supply plastic resin, packaging materials, and other production supplies to injection molding machines
• Move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products throughout the facility using forklifts or pallet jacks
• Load and unload materials from trucks and transport them to designated storage areas
• Stage materials for production runs and remove finished goods from production lines
• Ensure proper labeling and identification of materials and inventory
• Maintain accurate material movement records and inventory documentation
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory organization within the warehouse or production areas
• Inspect materials for damage or defects and report issues to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following company safety and 5S guidelines
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications:

• Previous material handling or warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience or certification preferred
• Experience working in a manufacturing or plastic injection molding environment is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
