Sales Executive – Freight Brokerage

Location: Remote or Fraser, MI
Compensation: $40,000–$50,000 base salary + uncapped commission
First-Year OTE: $90,000–$140,000

We are seeking a true freight brokerage sales hunter who thrives on prospecting, cold calling, and winning new business. This is not an account management role. The focus is on building a strong pipeline, opening new accounts, and growing a profitable book of business.

Responsibilities

• Make 100+ outbound prospecting calls daily.
• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Sell LTL, Full Truckload, and additional transportation solutions.
• Build relationships with shipping decision-makers and logistics managers.
• Prepare pricing proposals, negotiate rates, and close new business.
• Maintain accurate CRM activity and pipeline records.
• Partner with Operations to ensure strong customer service after the sale.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of successful freight brokerage sales experience.
• Currently manages a book of business generating at least $20,000 per month in gross profit through LTL and Truckload freight.
• Current LTL business must maintain profit margins above 15% .
• Current Truckload business must maintain profit margins above 10% .
• Proven success acquiring new customers through cold calling and outbound prospecting.
• Comfortable making 100+ outbound calls daily.
• Strong knowledge of LTL, Full Truckload, transportation pricing, and logistics solutions.
• CRM experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Microsoft Dynamics, or a similar platform.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently.
