Salary Range: $92,000 - $139,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable operation and uptime of critical manufacturing IT and OT systems (e.g., MES, ERP, SCADA, PLC networks).
• Manage and secure the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cybersecurity defenses across factory and office environments.
• Lead the implementation and optimization of manufacturing-specific software solutions to enhance production efficiency and quality.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans tailored to maintain continuous manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to identify technology needs and deliver solutions supporting business objectives.
• Oversee IT vendor relationships and manage procurement of hardware, software, and services relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Provide technical leadership and support for data collection, analysis, and reporting to drive operational insights and continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing IT operations and infrastructure within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing IT systems, including ERP, MES, SCADA, and industrial automation.
• Demonstrated expertise in IT project management, system implementation, and vendor management.
• Solid grasp of cybersecurity principles and best practices relevant to both IT and operational technology (OT) systems.
• Experience with IT strategic planning, budget management, and fostering IT/OT convergence.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or SCADA integration.
• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) environments and industrial cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts, IoT, or digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
