Responsibilities:

Massage services: Perform a variety of Massages, including deep tissue, Swedish, pre-natal, hot stones ,cupping massages; tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. Must be able to perform a minimum of 5 consecutive 30-90 minute massage services. Utilize various massage techniques, including deep tissue, Swedish, and sports massage, to address clients' specific concerns.

Warmly Greet Clients: Welcome clients with a friendly attitude and ensure they have a pleasant experience from the moment they step into the spa.

Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their massage needs and concerns. Customize massages and provide expert recommendations for maintaining wellness.  Assess clients' health conditions and create personalized treatment plans.

Administrative: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and treatment notes. Check clients in and out, schedule appointments, answer phones, use a credit card machine and cash drawer.

Marketing: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors or physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care for clients. Comfortable with social media platforms to promote our spa and services.

Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest massage products and treatments. Educate clients about proper at home care for wellness. Confident in recommending suitable products to enhance their overall experience.

High Standards: Uphold the spa’s reputation for excellence by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and professionalism. Ensure that treatment rooms and equipment are always sanitized and well-maintained at all times. Contribute with maintaining laundry and other cleaning duties.

Sales and Upselling : Promote wellness ,skincare products, upsell services to enhance the client experience and contribute to the spa’s revenue goals.

Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients. Provide exceptional customer service, address client concerns professionally, and ensure client satisfaction.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other spa professionals, such as estheticians, to create a seamless and integrated spa experience for clients.

Qualifications:

Massage License: Valid massage license in Michigan.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing massage therapist, preferably in a high-end spa.

Product Knowledge: Proficiency in wellness and skincare products, treatments, and industry trends.

Customer Focus: Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.

Professionalism: Impeccable grooming and presentation. Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Sales Skills: Strong sales and upselling abilities with a focus on enhancing the client experience.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $34.00 - $41.50 per hour
