Our Pedagogical Vision
As a community, we continually hold the question of how best to meet the children of today through a pedagogy that upholds the dignity of each human being—and what we must reimagine in order to do so. Supporting our teachers is central to this work. We are actively re-envisioning how to support class teachers through schedules, collaboration time, mentoring, and other structural supports, recognizing both the demands of the role and the vital importance of collegial relationships.
Teachers at our school are supported through mentoring, strong peer collaboration, and a healthy, responsive administrative team.

We have a strong and active College and have partnered with Alma Partners to deepen our work in diversity, equity, and inclusion in recent years.
Our Campus & Community
Our Lower School Campus sits on 12 wooded and grassy acres and serves Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our High School campus is a short drive away. Both campuses feature natural areas, gardens, sports facilities, and shared work and meeting spaces for faculty and staff.
Located in the greater Ann Arbor area , our school benefits from the richness of a university town with a small-town feel. We are close to the Anthroposophical Society, a biodynamic farm, and an Anthroposophical health center.
