Salary: $23.00 and up, depending on experience

Tia Marie Trucking, Inc. is hiring! We are looking for experienced gravel train, short double, and lead truck drivers for full-time positions with year-round work. We have immediate openings we need to fill. The driver will be responsible for submitting completed paperwork and for hauling gravel, sand, dirt, and other aggregates. Responsibilities include:

• Safely operating a heavy or tractor-trailer truck.
• Hauling gravel, sand, dirt, and concrete.
• Properly track and document activity log.
• Inspect truck before and after trip.
• Report any issues or incidences to dispatcher.
• Safe and skilled maneuverability and backing.
• Communicating with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers in a professional manner.
• We provide excellent benefits which begin the first of the month following 30 days of employment. These benefits include medical, dental, vision, and short-term disability. Medical, dental, and vision premiums are fully paid by the employer for the employee.

Qualifications:

• Driver's license (required)
• CDL-A (required)
• Doubles/Triples Endorsement (required)
• Have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card (required)
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen

His father started a trucking company back in 1957 and as a kid, Tony spent much of his time riding around and watching his father work on construction jobs all over Detroit. This greatly inspired him and in 1993, Tony purchased his first truck and began his own company, Calo & Sons Construction. He has since become a great leader and employer in the Detroit area.
