Class A CDL Truck Driver Hiring Recent Grads

American Bulldog Transport LLC is seeking full-time W-2 Class A CDL drivers, experienced and/or recent CDL school graduates who are eligible for the company’s paid Class A training program. Positions are available across OTR, regional, and dedicated fleets. We focus on safe, compliant operation of late-model tractor-trailers hauling predominantly no-touch dry van freight, allowing reliable home time and great benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Transport primarily no-touch dry van freight (approximately 70% drop-and-hook) across the Eastern U.S.
• Manage schedules to meet pickup and delivery commitments and maintain on-time performance.
• Maintain accurate ELD logs, trip reports, and driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs).
• Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members and follow company safety and operational procedures.

Training program (for eligible candidates):

• Paid three- to five-week program for recent CDL graduates who have completed at least 120 hours of instruction.
• Training includes safe tractor-trailer operation, compliant ELD use, trip reporting, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and company procedures.
• Progress evaluated through supervised driving, mentor support, and competency assessments prior to independent assignments.

Minimum qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL, or recent CDL school graduate who has completed at least 120 hours of instruction.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
