This full-time on-site role offers $75000$115000 annually depending on experience along with excellent benefits a collaborative team environment and long-term career potential.

As a key member of their estimating team youll be responsible for developing detailed cost estimates analyzing project plans and partnering with engineers subcontractors and vendors to deliver accurate and competitive proposals. This is an in-person role based in the Buffalo NY area

Responsibilities:

• Review RFPs specifications and design documents to determine project scope and estimating requirements.
• Prepare complete and accurate quantity take-offs for HVAC and piping systems using estimating software.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids and vendor quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
• Assemble and organize comprehensive estimating spreadsheets and proposal documents.
• Coordinate with superiors peers and estimating staff to clarify scope requirements and project details.
• Maintain consistent professional communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Ensure all estimating work aligns with company standards policies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Degree from a college trade school or equivalent technical training required.
• 5 years of experience in mechanical construction estimating with a focus on piping and HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in mechanical estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of drawings specifications and bid documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
