Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Senior Accountant to join our team. This role is responsible for managing tax compliance, supporting tax planning initiatives, and ensuring adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate combines strong technical tax knowledge with analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and/or trusts

· Ensure timely and accurate tax filings in compliance with regulatory requirements

· Conduct tax research and interpret tax laws to support business decisions

· Assist with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize tax positions

· Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and inquiries

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and industry trends

· Mentor junior staff and review their work for accuracy and completeness

· Improve internal processes and documentation related to tax compliance

· Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Accounting or related (Masters in Accounting or Taxation preferred but not required)
• 3+ years of Tax experience working for a public accounting firm
• Strong understanding of U.S. tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficient with tax software (e.g., UltraTax or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client demands effectively.
