**This is a seasonal position May-October (position may be available through December for Christmas in the Park)**
Some specific job duties may include:
- Provide superior guest service over the telephone and in person, by being enthusiastic, attentive, friendly and helpful.
- Check in guests at the gate, explain rules and assist with resort questions.
Assist guests with making reservations for their upcoming stay.
Assist guests with scheduling bear appearances.
Assist guests with renting golf cart, obtaining a valid drivers license, making sure rules are following while driving a golf cart.
Responding to incoming email requests.
- Greet all guests with a positive attitude and a well-groomed appearance, a smile, recognition and a proper uniform and name tag.
- Handle all guest issues with respect by listening and acknowledging their concern.
- Follow all resort guidelines and procedures regarding the handling of registrations, reservations, store sales and refunds.
Take all necessary security precautions to ensure that cash and credit cards are held in a safe and secure manner.
- Handle daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled stocking and cleaning programs as requested by the Guest Services Manager, Campground Manager and/or Operations Manager for all front office and store facilities.
- Promote local attractions, as well as the Jellystone system, through Club Yogi Rewards, referrals to other Jellystone locations.
Assist other departments in any other aspects needed to help our guests have a memorable experience. This may include but is not limited to cleaning of restrooms when necessary, assisting with being a bear or helping with an activity.
Must be available weekends and evenings.- This position has high guest interaction daily.

Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both verbal and written venues.
Possess excellent organization and project management skills, leadership skills as well as the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
Possess exceptional guest relations skills.
Basic knowledge of Camping (helpful).
Basic knowledge of problem solving and resolving conflict.
Attention to detail when taking reservations and registering guests.
Basic math skills for careful and accurate money handling.
Ability to multi-task.- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Possess exceptional guest relations skills.
- Weekend & Evening hours are required.
Physical Demands:
Employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions (hot and humid, rainy, extreme temperatures, airborne particles) during express check in periods. Constant use of hands and arms to input data into computer. Must be able to move boxes of files from one location to another and must be able to squat and stoop to retrieve low files. Must be able to converse directly and by phone.
