The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment and staffing for production, technical, and administrative roles.
• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labor laws.
• Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored for the manufacturing sector.
• Coordinate and deliver training and development programs, emphasizing safety and skill enhancement.
• Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and development plans.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and lead incident investigations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive experience in HR management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in labor relations, compliance (e.g., OSHA, FLSA), and HR best practices specific to manufacturing operations.
• Proven ability to manage full-cycle talent acquisition, development, and retention for a diverse production workforce.
• Strong background in employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive and safe plant culture.
• Ability to strategically partner with plant leadership to align HR initiatives with operational goals and drive business results.

Bonus Qualifications

• Multilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or similar process improvement experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification or advanced safety leadership training.
• Experience with HR modules of an integrated manufacturing ERP system (e.g., SAP HR, Oracle EBS).
• Prior experience in a non-HR manufacturing role (e.g., production supervisor, operations analyst).
