Hometown Markets is a locally owned and thriving business with three convenience stores, gas stations, and car wash facilities in Owosso, Michigan. We take pride in offering top-quality products and outstanding service, making us a trusted part of our community. Role Overview
We are currently hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Store Associates to join our dedicated team. In this role, youll play a key part in daily store operations, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every customer. - Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons, operating the cash register, and handling transactions.
- Maintain store cleanliness, including stocking shelves, emptying trash, and performing basic cleaning duties.
- Accurately complete shift paperwork and maintain inventory levels.
- Follow store protocols while working independently and as part of a team.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure a positive experience.
- Be eager to learn and follow store procedures.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by the store manager.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
8-hour shifts are scheduled throughout the week (MondaySunday). Shift availability may vary by location.
- Morning Shift: 6 a.m. 2 p.m. or 7 a.m. 3 p.m. (Currently filled, but accepting applications for future openings.)
- Afternoon Shift: 2 p.m. 10 p.m. or 3 p.m. 11 p.m. (Currently available.)
- Overnight Shift: 10 p.m. 6 a.m. or 11 p.m. 7 a.m. (Currently available.)
