Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on different materials.
• Inspect welds for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to drawings.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
• Grind, cut, and prepare metal surfaces for welding and finishing.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in common welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
• Experience with quality control and inspection of welded components.
• Relevant welding certification (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with other fabrication equipment (e.g., grinders, plasma cutters, saws).
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics for quality control.
• Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills for welding equipment.
• Experience welding a variety of materials such as aluminum or stainless steel.
