Kitchen Manager - Casual Dining

NextGen Hospitality Solutions is looking for a passionate and dedicated Kitchen Manager to join our team in Davison. This full-time, on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the kitchen operations in a casual dining environment, where quality and customer satisfaction are our top priorities.
As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, manage staff, and ensure that we deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your expertise will contribute to menu development and the implementation of food safety standards, all while fostering a collaborative and fun atmosphere within your team.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 annually, along with benefits that support your career growth and well-being in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure quality food preparation
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and update the menu to ensure variety and seasonal offerings
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen
- Control food costs and maintain inventory levels
- Foster a positive and productive work environment within the kitchen team
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure efficient service
- Implement new cooking techniques and trends to enhance food quality
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a casual dining setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff and management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Familiarity with inventory management and food cost control
- High school diploma or relevant culinary diploma is preferred
