Perm - Supervisor - Social Work (Days)
Pay: Dependent on Licensing and Experience
Hourly Salary Range: $35.60 - $48.17.
Shift Type : Days.
Shift Times :
- Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM.
- Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Weekend Requirements : TBD.
- On-Call Requirements : TBD.
Travel: Mileage reimbursement when personal vehicle is used at the IRS standard rate ($0.64 per mile)
Training : Paid training provided.
Role Overview:
- As a Crisis Services Supervisor in the Adult Behavioral Health Program, you will oversee the delivery of crisis screening, intervention, and intensive case management services.
- The Crisis Services team provides 24/7 crisis screening, intervention, and aftercare referrals for adults referred by community partners and local police departments throughout the area.
- The Intensive Case Management team provides crisis intervention and intensive case management for adults at significant risk for psychiatric readmission or repeated use of emergency psychiatric services, including those under court orders or deemed Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity.
- The supervisor will also arrange or provide afterhours coverage for crisis calls to support program staff as needed. Additional hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required based on client and program needs.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Crisis Services and Intensive Case Management teams.
- Ensure effective crisis screening, intervention, and referral services.
- Oversee intensive case management for high-risk adults.
- Support and guide staff in crisis situations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of services.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, agency staff, and community partners.
- Provide coverage for afterhours crisis calls as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Full licensure: LMSW, LPC, or LLP (Michigan).
- Minimum 3 years experience treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Must obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential within 120 days of hire.
- Must possess CAADC credential or be on an active, approved MCBAP Certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire.
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical assessment, triage, and crisis intervention.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Culturally competent and sensitive to diverse experiences and needs of adults with mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.
- Candidates on student/work visas or requiring sponsorship are not eligible.
