Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician specializing in stamping press, PLC, and robotic welds. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. You will be part of a dynamic team of four Maintenance Technicians, scheduling work and overseeing operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on stamping presses, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Collaborate with a team of three other Maintenance Technicians to schedule and oversee work.
• Act as a working supervisor in charge of the plant, ordering parts and equipment as necessary.

Essential Skills

• Experience with stamping presses and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in PLC and electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in maintenance operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Experience in a maintenance technician role within a similar environment.

Work Environment

Work in a clean metal stamping, welding, and sub-assembly automotive supplier facility. The position runs on a single shift from 4:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime until 4:30 pm. Additional overtime may be required from 4:00 am to Noon on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00/hr.
