Job Title: Automotive Mechanic/Tech

Job Description

Join our team in Auburn Hills as a mechanic. As part of the retrofit team, you will be responsible for performing part updates and rework on both new and gently used vehicles. Your work will range from heavy to light repairs, ensuring quality and compliance with documentation and procedures.

Essential Skills

• Mechanic with expertise in diagnosis, repair, engine, and transmission.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electronics.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with diagnostics tools.
• Experienced technician in engine, transmission, and electrical repairs/troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• State or ASE certifications in engine, transmission, or electrical are a plus.
• Enjoys working on personal vehicles during downtime.

Work Environment

Work in a spacious, clean environment with individual work stations equipped with all necessary tools. Although not temperature-controlled, the facility is comfortable with fans and vents to maintain a normal temperature. At the end of each shift, you will be expected to clean and organize your workstation. Openings are available on both the 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) and 3rd shift, with opportunities for overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
