Job Type: Contract (3 Months, Temp-to-Hire)
Start Date: Immediate
Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 5:00 PM (Occasional Overtime)
Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering high-quality, multi-channel customer support through phone, email, and text communication. This role involves handling high call volumes, performing detailed follow-ups, and ensuring accurate data entry and order processing. The CSR plays a critical role in enhancing customer experience and supporting business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing customer interactions via phone, email, and text
- Handle high call volumes (40–60 inbound calls and 10–20 outbound calls daily)
- Place multiple callers on hold and manage call flow efficiently
- Perform order processing, including frame ordering and job look-ups
- Conduct research and follow-through for each customer inquiry (5–15 minutes per case)
- Maintain accurate data entry and documentation
- Respond to emails (1–5/day) and text communications (20–30/day)
- Resolve customer issues using available tools, judgment, and collaboration
- Escalate unresolved issues appropriately
- Meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction targets
- Work collaboratively within a team environment
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (minimum)
- Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable handling incoming/outgoing calls (people-oriented role)
