Departmental Analyst 9-P11 (E Level)
This position serves as an entry level analyst for the Private Duty Nursing (PDN) program, providing research and analysis of data for program review, effectiveness and cost analysis. Position will also serve as a liaison with providers, beneficiaries, families, and Local health Department (LHD) in regards to services and benefits under the PDN program.
E-Level PD
Departmental Analyst 12 (A level)
This position serves as the recognized resource for the Private Duty Nursing (PDN) program, providing research and analysis of data for program review, effectiveness and cost analysis. Position provides research and analysis for PA related provider billing problems and provider requested changes to prior authorizations, makes changes in CHAMPS system as appropriate based on results of research and analysis. Position will serve as a liaison with providers, beneficiaries, families, and Local health Department (LHD) in regards to services and benefits under the PDN program. The expertise of the position is relied upon for formation and interpretation of Medicaid PDN policy, to provide technical knowledge for PDN coverage and service inquiries and to advise on PDN standards of coverage.

Required Education and Experience
Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience
Departmental Analyst 9
No specific type or amount is required.
Departmental Analyst 10
One year of professional experience.
Departmental Analyst P11
Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
Departmental Analyst 12
Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.
Additional Requirements and Information
The physical location of this position is 400 S Pine Street, Lansing, MI. Based on operational needs and within established limits, remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.
Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely and must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including:
- A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
- A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
- Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.
