Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles.
• Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
• Develop and implement training programs focused on safety, skill development, and compliance for the manufacturing workforce.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with labor laws.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA regulations specific to manufacturing facilities.
• Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and succession planning for operational roles.
• Act as a strategic partner to plant management, advising on workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR management experience, specifically within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• In-depth knowledge of labor laws, OSHA regulations, and HR best practices applicable to manufacturing operations.
• Proven expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management in a production environment.
• Demonstrated success in talent acquisition and retention strategies for skilled trades and production workforce.
• Strong ability to develop and implement HR policies and programs that align with operational goals and foster a positive workplace culture.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Multilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish).
• Experience developing or managing skilled trades apprenticeship programs.
• Certification in occupational safety (e.g., OSHA 30-hour).
