Job type – 6 months contract with possible extension

Role Overview for Assembler

We are seeking motivated and dependable Assembler I professionals to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Grand Rapids, MI.

No prior manufacturing experience is required—training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities for Assembler

• Perform a variety of production and assembly tasks on manufacturing lines.
• Assemble products using visual work instructions, diagrams, process sheets, and written/verbal instructions.
• Set up initial product layouts and use hand tools and production equipment.
• Conduct in-process and final quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Perform continuity and quality checks throughout the assembly process.
• Rework, modify, disassemble, reassemble, and test products or prototype assemblies as required.
• Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Report equipment issues or production concerns to supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications for Assembler

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, packaging, warehouse, or machine operation is a plus, but not required.
• Experience using hand tools or working in a production environment is beneficial.

Qualifications for Assembler

• No previous experience required.
• No minimum education requirement.
• Willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures.
