Salary Range: $59,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily finishing operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Ensure all finished products adhere to established quality specifications through regular inspection and process control.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate finishing department personnel, managing work assignments and performance.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures within the finishing area to maintain a safe working environment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize finishing techniques.
• Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of finishing equipment and machinery.
• Manage inventory of finishing materials and supplies to ensure continuous production flow.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing finishing department.
• In-depth technical knowledge of industrial finishing processes (e.g., painting, coating, polishing, final assembly).
• Strong understanding and application of quality control principles and defect resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety regulations and best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced finishing techniques such as powder coating, electroplating, or specialized painting.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or demonstrated experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems for production tracking and data analysis.
• Familiarity with specialized quality inspection equipment (e.g., CMM, spectrophotometers).
