Account Manager - Business
Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, dynamic Account Manager with strong relationship management skills who thrives in fast‑paced, situational environments. This role is ideal for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, adapt quickly to changing client needs, and maintain trusted partnerships while driving business growth. Ideal candidate will have experience in the medical/dental surgical market.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and grow long‑term relationships with assigned client accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring exceptional client experience and satisfaction
- Understand client goals, challenges, and business drivers to deliver tailored solutions
- Proactively identify opportunities for expansion, retention, and value creation
- Navigate and resolve complex or high‑pressure situations with professionalism and sound judgment
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, sales, and leadership to meet client needs
- Monitor account performance, prepare reports, and communicate insights effectively
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and follow‑through
- Limited travel- when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in account management, relationship management, or client services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly driven, self‑motivated, and results‑oriented
- Ability to remain calm, decisive, and solutions‑focused in situational or high‑change environments
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive mindset
- Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (or equivalent tools)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience managing complex or high‑value accounts
- Demonstrated success in upselling or account growth initiatives
- Enthusiastic, driven, go-getter and team player

Compensation
Base salary: $75,000 per year
Commission : Approximately $50,000 per year
Communication Allowance (Cell Phone)- $1200 per year
Location: Wixom, Michigan
Type: In-office – Monday - Friday
