Salary Range: $73,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in production machinery, control systems, and power distribution.
• Implement and optimize Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) programming for automation processes.
• Ensure all electrical installations and modifications comply with safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA) and industry regulations.
• Lead or support electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, including upgrades, new equipment integration, and facility expansions.
• Develop and maintain accurate electrical schematics, documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance technicians and production personnel on electrical systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs).
• Proficiency in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) for schematic design and panel layout.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC) and their application in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in production machinery and automation equipment.
• Experience with power distribution systems, motor control centers, and industrial communication protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI development.
• Familiarity with industrial robotics and automation systems.
• Knowledge of machine safety standards (e.g., NFPA 79, ISO 13849) and safety circuit design.
• Experience with industrial vision systems for quality control or guidance.
• Understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet).
