Welder
- Assemble and TIG weld aerospace castings and details
- Use fixtures, tools, and gauges to produce aerospace parts meetings blueprint drawing tolerances
- Follow detailed work instructions
- Practice weld procedures per GE and Nadcap/AWS specifications
- Work in a team environment, participate in Action Workouts, and contribute to the LEAN Manufacturing workplace
- Practice safe work habits and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Must have minimum of two years Gas Tungsten Arc (Heliarc) welding experience
- Pass Gas Tungsten Arc Weld test on nickel base, cobalt base and stainless steel alloys (groove and fillet welding per MIL-W-1595)
- Prefer 2 years of college or trade school background or professional industry equivalency
- Must be able to complete qualification training on nickel and cobalt per AWS D17.1
- Good attendance, attitude and work habits will be required
- Employee must have no disqualifications on his/her record for the past six months
- 2nd shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm and 3pm - 11pm (5% shift premium)
- 3rd shift: 10:30pm - 6:30am and 11pm - 7am (5% shift premium)
- Weekend Crew F-Sun 6:30pm - 6:30am and Thurs, Fri, Sat 6:30pm - 6:30am (10% shift premium)
