Sr Software Engineer

job summary:
Our West Michigan Client has a long term contract opportunity for a Sr Software Engineer with Java/Spring and Kafka experience. This is a remote role. Ideal candidates will be in or near Michigan.

responsibilities:

• Design, modify, and implement software programming applications.
• Support and install software applications and operating systems.
• Participate in testing processes, including review, analysis, and certification.
• Apply field concepts and procedures to plan and accomplish goals.
• Perform complicated tasks with a high degree of creativity and latitude.

qualifications:
Job Requirements -

Experience coding with Spring and Java.

Experience with Kafka.

Experience in back end development, preferably in e-commerce.

Must demonstrate an ability to performance tune and refactor code as well as run necessary automated tests.

Desired Skills & Experience -

SAFe Agile Experience
