Job Description
Do You Lead with a Heart of Kindness — and a Mind for Growth?
At Veterinary United, leading with a heart of kindness isn’t just a catchy phrase — it’s one of our core values. We believe great leaders don’t just come from veterinary backgrounds; they come from all walks of life. What matters most is the ability to inspire, empower, and drive a culture where teams and clinics thrive.
If you’re a people-first leader with a head for strategy, numbers, and results, our Oxford and Metamora teams need you! These two growing hospitals are full of potential — and we’re looking for someone who can elevate both the people and the performance that make them special.
Pawsitivity Is Pawsome — but So Are Results! You might love animals (who doesn’t?), but your real passion lies in helping people perform at their best. You’re driven by teamwork and culture, but you also light up when you see progress — a healthier P&L, higher client satisfaction, and stronger retention.
At Animal Wellness and Medical Center of Oxford and Bell Veterinary Clinic Metamora, you’ll help shape the financial health and operational direction of both clinics — from setting KPIs around growth, efficiency, and client experience to coaching your team to exceed them. You’ll lead with empathy, but think strategically — ensuring the clinics are thriving today and building for tomorrow.
What You’ll Do:Be a Changemaker
Lead and inspire teams to deliver exceptional client and patient experiences.
Drive key performance metrics including revenue growth, cost management, labor optimization, and client retention.
Partner with leadership to build short- and long-term plans for sustainable growth across both Oxford and Metamora.
Lead with Heart and Strategy
Develop and track clinic-level KPIs — revenue, transactions, team productivity, and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with our finance and operations teams to analyze data, identify trends, and act on opportunities for improvement.
Coach, develop, and recognize your team to strengthen culture and performance.
Elevate the Experience
Support client communication and engagement through partnership with Marketing.
Reinforce our “Inspire, Empower, Lead, Evolve, Believe” values every day.
Be a role model for culture, accountability, and growth-minded leadership.
3–5 years of experience leading teams (multi-site or healthcare preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field (preferred).
Strong analytical, financial, and people leadership skills.
Experience managing budgets, P&L, and KPIs to achieve measurable goals.
Ability to coach others while balancing empathy and accountability.
Health, Dental & Vision Insurance
401k with Company Match
Paid Time Off & Holidays
