Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for the custom electronic installation of customer trucks. This role involves installing electric circuits for various electrical accessories and collaborating closely with both management and customers to enhance the truck build-up process.

Responsibilities

• Install electric circuits and wiring for electrical accessories such as lighting, automatic salting controls, sensors, and switches.
• Utilize prints and diagrams to guide electrical system setups during truck build-up processes.
• Communicate daily with management to assess job assignments and identify necessary parts and materials.
• Collaborate proactively with customers to meet their needs.
• Participate in continual process improvement initiatives with management and co-workers.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift operator certification.
• Overhead crane operator certification.
• General comprehension of and experience in the truck build-up process.
• Understanding of electrical circuits and laws of current flows related to voltage drops.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work independently.
• Complete set of hand tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, diagrams, schematics, and prints.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Howell, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
