Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing and Inventory Control person to join our growing team. In the Purchasing and Inventory Control position, you will be responsible for all aspects of ordering, procurement, supplier relations and inventory management. We are looking for someone who is a self motivated, can wear multiple hats, and desires a working environment where collaboration is a necessity. Responsibilities:

• Utilize ERP system to monitor inventory levels and track stock movements
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory requirements
• Procure materials through various channels, including buying from suppliers
• Coordinate logistics for incoming shipments
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and pricing
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, such as cycle counting and kanban
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely availability of materials
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to inventory control

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in inventory control or supply chain management
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, preferably Epicor ERP
• Proven experience with procurement processes and negotiating contracts
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
