Screw Machinist
Autocam/NN Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high-performance precision components.. NN’s success is based on its talented and empowered team. We are seeking Screw Machinists to join our team. A Screw Machinist will be responsible for setting up and running equipment to produce parts that meet precise specifications for the automotive, medical, electrical industry. We are looking to fill roles on our night shift, which is Sunday night-Friday morning from roughly 8pm to 6am. We can be flexible on a start time as needed. 50 hour work weeks
Screw Machinist Responsibilities:
- Operate manual and automated machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
- Maintain and repair machine tools and equipment.
- Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine the specific operation to be performed.
- Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
- Set up and adjust multi-spindle screw machines such as, Tornos, Acme and Gridley.
