Travel Registered Nurse CCU Job
- Key responsibilities: Provide direct, evidence-based care for CCU patients, including continuous hemodynamic monitoring, interpretation of cardiac rhythms, vasoactive infusions, and rapid response to changing conditions. Administer medications safely, manage invasive lines, and coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and case managers. Lead patient rounds, document meticulously in electronic health records, implement and adjust care plans, and educate patients and families to foster understanding and engagement in the healing process. Maintain strict infection control and safety standards, advocate for patient rights, and participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives.
- Growth opportunities: Access ongoing professional development in critical care nursing, pursue specialty certifications, engage in mentorship programs, and explore leadership tracks within CCU. The role is designed to enhance clinical judgment, expand technical skills (such as invasive monitoring and advanced airway management), and prepare you for larger responsibilities in fast-paced critical care environments.
- Competitive benefits: Weekly pay of $1,970-$2,026, with guaranteed hours of 36.0 per week. A sign-on bonus and housing assistance are available to support your transition, along with options for contract extensions to maximize your exposure and continuity of care. Additional stipends or incentives may be discussed during the hiring process, with flexibility to align with your preferences and target goals.
- Comprehensive support: A robust support structure runs 24/7, including travel coordination, credentialing assistance, orientation, and access to a clinical liaison who understands the demands of CCU practice. You will have continuous access to experienced mentors and fellow travelers who share best practices and safety standards, ensuring you feel empowered and secure while delivering high-quality care during your assignment.
- Start Date and duration: Start Date: 03/09/2026. Duration: Weeks (assignment length determined by facility needs and staffing considerations). While the exact duration will be confirmed during onboarding, you will enjoy a consistent 36 hours per week framework and predictable planning for personal time and professional commitments.
- Location flexibility with stability: While Marshall anchors your experience, you also gain the flexibility to explore other U.S. locations through the program, allowing you to broaden clinical exposure, adapt to different hospital cultures, and build a versatile resume while enjoying competitive compensation and structured support. Company Values:
Our organization is rooted in empowering every nurse to grow, lead, and excel.
