HVAC Journeyman
**Job Summary:**
Join the dynamic team at a furniture manaufacturing facility Kentwood, MI as an HVAC Journeyman! We are looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing HVAC systems to ensure operational efficiency. This contract position offers the potential to transition into a permanent role, providing you with a fantastic opportunity to grow within our company.
**Job Specifications:**
- **Job Type:** Contract (with potential to become permanent)

- **Location:** Kentwood
- **Pay Rate:** Negotiable
- **Shift:** Day shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (with some flexibility)
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
- Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Energy Center team to optimize ongoing projects.
- Maintain detailed records and prepare reports as required.
**Qualifications & Skills:**
- HVAC Journeyman Card issued through the Department of Labor (DOL) or at least 8 years of experience in Commercial and Industrial HVAC.
- EPA 608 Universal Reclaim Certification is required.
- State of Michigan Mechanical Contractors License with the following work classifications:
- Section 2: HVAC Equipment
- Section 5: Limited Heating Service
- Section 7: Limited Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
