Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced driver to safely operate vans and trailers. This role also includes assisting technicians when needed and performing various tasks in the warehouse. The ideal candidate must be in good health , able to lift heavy loads , flexible, ready for long trips, early starts, and occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive vans and trailers for local and regional deliveries.
• Assist technicians on-site as needed.
• Perform warehouse and delivery-related tasks, including loading/unloading and handling heavy equipment.
• Pick up materials from clients and deliver them to job sites.
• Help technicians set up equipment and prepare materials in vans as required.
• Carry out general and flexible tasks as requested by the office.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Adapt to variable schedules, including early mornings, late evenings, and occasional overnight trips.

Requirements:

• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred.
• Proven experience driving vans and trailers.
• Good health and ability to lift heavy loads.
• Ability to handle long routes and variable schedules.
• Flexible and willing to assist warehouse staff and technicians as needed.
• Good knowledge of local roads in Detroit and Michigan.
• Strong time management, reliability, and communication skills.
• Mandatory drug test and clean criminal background check.

Salary:

• $18 to $20 per hour depending on experience and responsibilities.
• Potential for higher pay on long trips or with additional responsibilities.
