Calibration Technician and Industrial Machinery Mechanic

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has mechanical common sense, can stay organized, values teamwork, and finds pride in accomplishments. The technician will perform onsite repairs, travel to customer locations, and pursue certification with the State of Michigan and Ohio Weights and Measures program.

Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, repair, exchange parts, and reassemble equipment.
• Examine parts for defects and wear, diagnose malfunctioning equipment.
• Test equipment after assembly to ensure that it’s working properly.
• Perform calibration tests at customer sites.
• Analyze piping systems to choose the best solutions and solve problems related to fluid transfer and measurement.
• Operate vehicles, including forklifts and pickup trucks.
• Using hands and arms to handle, install, position, move materials and manipulate equipment.
• Perform general physical activities, including climbing, lifting heavy equipment, stooping, and handling materials.
• Attention to detail in assessing and repairing equipment.
• Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years’ experience repairing mechanical equipment
• Dependable, responsible, willing to follow through.
• Willing to wear PPE and work within Safety guidelines.
• Must be able to pass random drug tests, including Marijuana.

Job Type: Full-time, overtime opportunities

Typical Hours: Mon-Fri: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Salary: $20.00 per hour

Pay Frequency: Weekly
