Picture this: It’s 7:30 a.m. in Traverse City. You kick off a quick huddle with your crew, assign the day’s service calls, and review a new system install on the schedule. By mid-morning, you’re diagnosing an intermittent fault on a rooftop unit. After lunch, you’re optimizing a boiler’s efficiency curve, then coaching a junior tech through a tricky refrigeration control issue. Throughout the day, you’re the steady hand guiding quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

• Mentor and direct a team of HVAC technicians on service and installation work.
• Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of HVAC systems, including HVAC/R equipment and boilers.
• Execute preventive maintenance to keep systems running at peak performance.
• Install new HVAC systems and components to industry standards and best practices.
• Diagnose boiler performance issues and implement efficiency improvements.
• Document service calls, diagnostics, repairs, and installations with clear, accurate records.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and communicate solutions in plain language.
• Stay current with emerging HVAC technologies, tools, and industry trends.

• HVAC/R certification preferred.
