We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Optician to join our team Monday-Friday, No nights, no weekends and no holidays. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting patients in selecting and fitting eyewear, ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in providing quality eye care and enhancing the overall patient experience. *Responsibilities* - Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their needs and preferences. - Conduct fittings for glasses and contact lenses, ensuring proper alignment and comfort. - Educate patients on lens options, frame styles, and proper eyewear care. - Maintain accurate patient records, including prescriptions and billing information. - Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to ensure seamless patient care. - Manage inventory of eyewear products, including ordering and restocking as necessary. - Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and loyalty. - Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and advancements in eye care technology. *Qualifications* - Previous experience in retail sales or retail management is preferred. - Knowledge of ophthalmology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs is a plus. - Familiarity with aseptic techniques and laboratory practices is beneficial. - Strong understanding of medical billing processes is desirable. - Proficient in retail math to assist with inventory management and sales analysis. - Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
