Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage warehouse budget, controlling costs related to labor, equipment, and supplies.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics departments to ensure timely material flow and order fulfillment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, manage orders, and generate reports.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in warehouse operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including FIFO/LIFO, cycle counting, and WMS implementation.
• Expertise in optimizing warehouse layout, workflow, and material handling processes for efficiency and safety.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience in training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite).

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• - Certification in warehouse management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CLTD)
• - Proficiency in a specific Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system relevant to the manufacturing industry
• - Experience with cold chain or temperature-controlled warehouse operations
