Mandatory Skills (Required)
- IT Project Management (industry standards & best practices) – 7+ years
- Proven record of delivering projects on time and on budget in a formal PM role – 7+ years
- Establishing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, change requests, risk & issue logs – 7+ years
- Developing and delivering project status reports – 7+ years
- Project portfolio management tools (e.g., Clarity) – 5+ years
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Project – 5+ years.
- Handling variety of stakeholders & system owners across departments – 5+ years.
- Providing PM services for IT Projects involving COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) technology – 5+ years.
- Experience managing multi-vendor environment in government projects – 5+ years.
Highly Desired Skills
- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) – 3+ years.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Clarity (State’s PPM Tool) to create schedules, assign resources, and manage budgets.
- Prepare presentations for executives, managers, and project team members.
- Monitor, control, and communicate project progress (cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, risks).
- Ensure clear and timely communication with stakeholders, sponsors, and management.
- Foster collaboration between technical and business teams, obtain consensus, gain commitment.
- Develop & maintain SUITE PMM deliverables throughout lifecycle:
- Project Charter, Project Schedule, Budget
- Communication Plan, Status Reports
- Risk & Issue Management Plans
- Change Requests, Project Closeout Summary
- Manage interfaces and communication with other agencies.
- Ensure adherence to SUITE PMM and SEM methodologies across all project phases.
- Facilitate and enforce Change Management process (Change Requests).
- Create Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) for projects in yellow/red status.
- Understand project benefits and assess impact of change requests on business cases
- Review and manage vendor contracts & deliverables (ensuring approvals are followed).
- Facilitate stakeholder interactions, clarify expectations, and track deliverables.
